The Charleville Agricultural Show was thrilled to be invited to the Irish Show Association official launch of the yearbook which took place in Athlone earlier this year.
The yearbook was officially launched by Minister Dara Calleary.  Minister Calleary announced a funding package of €1 Million for 123 Agricultural Shows across Ireland in 2025. The funding will help all Shows to expand their programme and enhance their infrastructure.
The Minister stated that Agricultural Shows is a key component of life in Rural Ireland. He gave a passionate speech about the teamwork behind every show and how it is so evident in Rural Ireland, he acknowledged the hard-working committee, stewards and volunteers.  
The Charleville Agricultural Show would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Minister Calleary and his Department for the funding for 2025.
